It involves taking a prescribed pill, given by our endodontic specialist, 1.5 to 2 hours before your procedure. A prior consultation is required, where the endodontic specialist will review your medical history to determine if oral sedation is appropriate for you.

The effects of oral sedation typically last for a few hours. For safety, the patient will need someone over the age of 18 to drive them home after the procedure.
